My Story
My name is Danny Gelston, and I’ve been part of the automotive industry my whole life. From tagging along in my dad’s garage as he built record-breaking race engines, to years spent in the auto refinishing trade, I’ve always had a passion for creating and improving anything mechanical.
That passion naturally grew into Bush to Beach Fabrication — where I now design and build everything from stainless steel smoker BBQs to custom trailers, off-road caravans, and bespoke metal projects of all kinds.
Why I Do What I Do
I love taking an idea that starts as a scribble on paper and turning it into something real and useful. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a finished product being used for its intended purpose.
I take pride in being approachable, reliable, and easy to deal with, and I’m always happy to discuss your ideas — whether it’s a one-off fabrication, modification, or custom trailer build.
“Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.”

Some items, such as trailers, are made to order. While we aim to keep popular sizes available, custom builds are always welcome. If something is out of stock or you need a specific size, please get in touch to discuss a custom option.
Postage & Orders
We use a third-party app to calculate Australia Post shipping rates. It’s usually accurate, but if you ever think the cost looks high, let me know — I’ll happily check it manually.
If the actual postage ends up being cheaper than what you were charged, we’ll automatically refund the difference. We’re also working on improving this system for even smoother ordering.
